Event overview
The Henway Hard Cider Turkey Trot takes place on November 28, 2026 at Henway Hard Cider in Bluemont, VA. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series, and toward the Sippin Series. A virtual race option is available for those who cannot attend in person.

Course and logistics
The course is an out-and-back on a dirt road within Henway’s property. The route is described as basically flat with no major elevation changes. The 10k consists of the out-and-back route run twice. Water stations are placed along the course: three on the 10k at about miles 1.55, 3.1 and 4.65, and one on the 5k at about mile 1.55; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located in the cidery. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered.
Participants, fees and awards
Runners receive one glass of cider, a finisher medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations before November 16. Early registration fees listed are $35 for the 5k and $50 for the 10k through October 31, with higher fees after that date; prices increase on race morning. Awards include top three men and women overall and first and second place male and female in standard age categories; overall top-three finishers are not eligible for age-group awards.
