2026 Henway Hard Cider Turkey Trot 5k & 10k
This event is a Thanksgiving weekend running event held at Henway Hard Cider in Bluemont, Virginia on November 28. It offers both a 5 km and a 10 km distance and includes a virtual race option for those who cannot attend in person. Points from the race count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series and also toward the Sippin Series.
The course is an out-and-back route on a dirt road within the cidery property. The terrain is described as basically flat with no major elevation changes. The 10 km course is the 5 km out-and-back done twice. Walkers are welcome to participate.
Runners receive one glass of cider from Henway Hard Cider, a finisher medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. Packet pickup is available at the event; participants are advised to allow time to check in before their race. Race day registration is available though shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for late registrants.
Water stations are provided: three stations on the 10 km course at approximately miles 1.55, 3.1 and 4.65, and one station on the 5 km course at about mile 1.55. Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located in the cidery. Live results are posted online and a QR code at the event provides immediate access.
