The course is an out and back along a dirt road within the cidery property and is described as basically flat; the 10k is two out-and-back loops. Water stations are provided—three on the 10k at approximately miles 1.55, 3.1, and 4.65, and one on the 5k at about mile 1.55; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located in the cidery.
Participants receive one glass of cider from Henway Hard Cider, a finisher medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before November 16; extras may be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place male and female finishers in standard age groups; overall top-three finishers are not eligible for age-group prizes. Live results are posted online and final results with series points are published after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
