Event
The 2025 South Berkeley Christmas 5K is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2025, in Inwood, WV. The event is the 15th annual edition and is part of the SVR Winter Series. The race distance is 5K and the course is described as mostly flat, following the South Berkeley Christmas Parade route. The event benefits the Berkeley County Humane Society. Festive costumes and clothing are encouraged.
Logistics and Services
The race uses chip timing provided by Racine Multisports and posts results online. Awards are given to the top three finishers in 5-year age divisions. Packet pick up is available the day before the race at the Randy Smith Rec Center and also on race day at the same location. There is no parking at Musselman High School or the Randy Smith Rec Center; parking is available at Musselman Middle School, the football field, and Mill Creek Intermediate. A complimentary bag check is provided by Goin' Postal. Dogs and strollers are allowed but will be placed toward the back of the starting corral; dogs must be leashed and under control. Race shirts are provided to participants who register before December 1, with additional shirts available while supplies last and extra shirts for sale after the race.
