Summer's Done 13.1 takes place in Cary, NC at Fred G. Bond Metro Park (801 High House Rd, Cary 27513). The in-person race is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026. A virtual option runs August 15 to August 22, 2026. The event is organized by Fit & Able Productions, a nonprofit that organizes local races and training programs.

Additional event categories include virtual versions of the distances, a Kids in Strollers entry (open to ages 4 and under), and an Exhibitor option. A Summer Series 26.2 bundle pairs this race with the Sizzling Soles Half-marathon to combine finish times into a 26.2 total with an extra set of awards and a 10% bundle discount.
All registered 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 mile participants receive a finishers medal and gift if signed up by August 9. The event offers over $8,500 in potential in-person and virtual awards across overall, age-group, and special categories, plus rewards for referrals, team recruitment, and fundraising.
