Stride With Pride 5K Run/Walk is an in-person 5-kilometer event held at Belmont Lake State Park in West Babylon, NY. The event is hosted by the North Babylon Teachers' Organization and takes place rain or shine.
Online registration is available. The published total cost shown at checkout is $33.80, which includes a processing fee; the base registration is listed as $30.00. A reduced registration fee of $20.00 is available for North Babylon students. There is also an option to make a donation only.
Participants who register at least three weeks before the event can receive a personalized bib. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed after May 19. Bib lookup and self-lookup options are provided for participants who do not know their number.
Event amenities include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, same-day finish line video, and other race-day media. Team entry is optional and may not include awards.
Proceeds support the North Babylon UFSD LGBTQ Clubs, split between the middle and high school. Registration terms state that all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, and registrants must agree to the event waiver and media release as part of the registration process.
