Glen Cove Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
The Glen Cove Turkey Trot is a community 5K run/walk held on Thanksgiving Day at Glen Cove High School, 150 Dosoris Lane, Glen Cove, NY 11542. The event uses a USATF-certified 5K course and awards overall top finishers as well as top three male and female finishers in multiple age-group categories, including youth and masters divisions.
Online registration is available with different pricing tiers shown for early registration and race-day entry; a reduced rate applies for participants age 18 and under and age 65 and older. Registration includes optional add-ons, donations, and a processing fee. Registrants who register by November 4 are guaranteed a free t-shirt subject to size availability. Registration closes at 9:10 AM sharp on event day.
Pre-race packet pickup is available the evening before in the high school gym; day-of packet pickup is available on the morning of the event. Participants who register three weeks in advance can request a personalized bib; last-minute registrants receive a bib number by text. Team registration is offered as an optional feature.
All race fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The registration process includes standard release and waiver terms. All proceeds from the event benefit Glen Cove Schools. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
