The Oyster Bay Turkey Trot By the Bay is a 5K run/walk held on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, in Oyster Bay, New York. The course starts at 36 Audrey Ave and finishes at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park. The event is held rain or shine and offers live results, finish-line photos, and a DJ at the finish area.

Early bib pickup is available at a local brewery on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 25 and 26 (evening hours listed), with day-of bib pickup located outside the LIRR parking lot. There is no day-of race registration and participants must bring their bib on race day. Registered runners who sign up at least three weeks before the event receive a personalized bib.
Registration, awards, and beneficiaries
The event includes a 5K run/walk with reduced pricing for ages 16 and under. First 200 finishers (based on crossing the finish line, not time) and 100 additional finishers in the 900-1000 range will receive a $50 gift certificate to a local Oyster Bay restaurant. Top overall awards note that the 1st overall will receive a round-trip domestic airfare voucher courtesy of JetBlue and 2nd overall will receive a prize. Age-group recognition is given online to the top three men and women in age groups from 14 & under through 75+.
Proceeds support Oak Cliff Sailing, Friends of the Bay, the Main Street Association, and the Michael Rampanelli Memorial Foundation. Registration fees are non-refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
