Stride Along the Tide 5K
The Stride Along the Tide 5K is a community-focused run and walk event taking place at Nahant Lowlands Park. As part of the YMCA of Metro North Road Race Series, the event follows a course along the coastline of Nahant. The race is open to participants of various ages and includes the following distance:

The event features chip timing provided by Bay State Race Services. Participants who complete their registration before April 18 are guaranteed an event T-shirt. On the day of the event, the organizers provide post-race refreshments for participants. Prizes are awarded to top finishers across every age category.
A specific family rate is available for up to four members of the same household. Pre-registered participants can pick up their packets the day before the race at the Demakes Family YMCA in Lynn or on the morning of the event at the race site. Limited free parking is available at Lowlands Park, with additional overflow parking located in the DCR parking lot. All proceeds from the event support the YMCA of Metro North Annual Fund, which assists in providing access to child care, summer camps, and health programs.
