STRIDE Run/Walk
The STRIDE series consists of monthly run and walk events held on Saturday mornings from May through September in various parks throughout Salem. This specific installment takes place at Bush's Pasture Park in Salem, Oregon. The course utilizes a combination of soft and hard trail surfaces.
Participants can choose from the following distance:
- 5 km run or walk
The event is open to participants using strollers, and dogs on a leash are permitted to attend. Registration fees are set at ten dollars. Event organizers distribute bibs on the morning of the activity near Phillips' Field within the park.
Access to the start and finish area is most direct from the parking area located off Cross Street and Yew Street. After 5 p.m. on the Friday preceding the event, registered participants receive course maps via email. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
