The Bush Park Thursday Nights Race Series takes place throughout August in Salem, Oregon. This recurring event is held at Bush Park, with the main assembly area located near Leffelle St SE. The series consists of weekly running events held on four consecutive Thursdays, providing consistent opportunities for participation during the summer season.
The event schedule features a variety of distances to accommodate different age groups and preferences. The available distances for the open events include:

- 5000 meters (Open to all participants)
In addition to the primary distances, the series includes specific events for younger participants. There is a 500 meter run designated for children under the age of 7 and a 1600 meter run for those aged 7 to 12. The final week of the series serves as a ribbon and awards night to recognize participants.
Registration is available online, and same-day registration is offered onsite at the park. For the youth-specific distances (500m and 1600m), registration is handled exclusively in person on the night of the race. The courses for the 3K and 5K events remain consistent with previous years. To ensure the safety of all participants, the organizers do not permit strollers or pets on the race courses.
