About the race
Mud, Sweat & Blooms is a 5k (3.1 mile) mud run held at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn, Oregon, staged alongside the farm's flower festival and a Garden Party at the finish area. The course includes about 12 to 20 obstacles such as mud pits and crawls, hay bale hurdles, an over-under with irrigation pipe, ponds to splash through, ravine hills, a slip and slide, and a water slide.
The event is open to all ages and is dog friendly. The entry fee includes a race T-shirt (if registered by July 26), and access to the Garden Party and Flower Festival. Published fees list individual, youth, and non-runner prices; non-runners pay a discounted entry for the flower festival.
The event is self-timed with clocks at the start and finish. Water stations and one porta-potty are located on the course. Packet pickup and race-day registration occur at the race site on the day of the event; team captains may pick up packets for their team. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at packet pickup to sign a waiver and release.
Proceeds support the charitable work of Woodburn Rotary and the Woodburn Rotary Foundation, which fund local programs and services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
