Stony Lake Sparkler 5K
The event is centered at the Stony Lake Inn, 4722 Scenic Drive, Stony Lake, MI 49455. It includes a timed 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on the same day. The route is described as scenic.
Packet pickup is available at the Stony Lake Inn the day before the event and on race day. T shirts are guaranteed to participants who pre-register by June 21.
Registration opens December 31, 2025 and closes June 15, 2026. Fees for registrations received by June 15, 2026 are 5K thirty dollars and 1 Mile twenty dollars. Family rate for pre-June 16 registrations is eighty dollars for two adults and up to four children under 18 at the same address. Registrations on or after June 16, 2026 have higher fees: 5K forty dollars, 1 Mile thirty dollars, and a family rate of one hundred dollars.
Awards for the 5K include overall, Master, and Grand Master categories for male and female finishers based on start time, plus first through third place in age categories using chip time. Age categories include 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, and continue in five year increments through 75 and over. Medals are provided to all 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk participants.
