About the race
The Apple A Day 5K is a community road event held on Saturday, September 11, 2027, in Silver Lake, Michigan. The course runs along a wooded seasonal road located just minutes from the Silver Lake Sand Dunes and is presented as part of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Apple and BBQ Festival.
The event covers 5K and is organized as a non timed fundraiser for a local volleyball team. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners, and there are random drawings for 16 participants. Timing for age group or gender results is not provided for this edition.
Race registration has an entry fee of $25.00 plus a $2.20 sign up fee, with the price increasing to $30.00 after September 2. Participants who register by August 31 are guaranteed an official race t shirt. Race day registration is available at Mac Wood’s Dune Rides. Each participant must complete a waiver prior to taking part in the event.
The 5K takes place within the wider festival program, which includes food vendors, live music, a classic car show, and local craft booths that continue through the afternoon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
