Run A Muck Cross Country 5K and 10K : Scholl Farms, June 20, 2027
Run A Muck takes place on June 20, 2027 at Scholl Farms, 5955 Eilers Rd, Montague, Michigan, on a private organic farm about 3 miles from Lake Michigan.
Distances offered:
- 1K Kids Race for children 10 and under
- 5K cross country on farm trails with water and mud features
- 10K completes the 5K loop then continues onto additional hills and technical terrain
The course runs through wooded trails and open fields on a working farm. The 5K terrain is mostly flat but includes obstacles such as water and mud jumps, hay bales, and logs. All finishers of the 1K, 5K, and 10K receive a white spruce seedling. Awards are given for overall and age group places in both the 5K and 10K, plus masters categories and special awards including oldest, youngest, heaviest, and slowest. A sack race for participants 10 and older, an awards ceremony, and a potluck lunch follow the races. Post-race farm produce and refreshments will be available.
Registration opens January 1, 2027 and closes May 30, 2027. Fees: 5K adult $30 youth $20; 10K adult $30 youth $20.
