Stink Stank Stunk 5k
The Stink Stank Stunk 5k is a holiday-themed running event taking place in Bolivar, Ohio. Participants are encouraged to wear Christmas attire for the races, which are held at Lockport Brewery. The course is described as flat and is open to participants for both running and walking.
The event features two distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The race serves as a fundraiser for Project Grinch Dust (PGD), a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The proceeds help provide local families with essential items such as back-to-school clothing, shoes, school supplies, and Christmas gifts based on children's wishlists.
Registered participants receive a race packet that includes a t-shirt featuring the race logo and additional event swag. T-shirt sizes range from Youth X-Small to Adult 2X-Large, with a discount available for those who choose not to receive a shirt. Packet pickup is located at Lockport Brewery on the day of the event.
Awards are available for the top three overall male and female finishers in both the 5K and the 1 Mile events. For the 5K, age group awards are also provided for several categories ranging from 14-under to 70 and older. Participants can collect their awards from a designated table following the completion of their race, as there is no formal award ceremony.
