The Zoar Merry Miles takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Zoar, Ohio. The race starts and finishes at the Zoar Community Center, 190 5th St, Zoar, OH 44697. The event is a 3 mile run/walk and is listed as a member event of the Ohio Challenge Series.
Course, amenities and awards
The course uses a mix of roads and trail with a few moderate hills. The route passes the Zoar Garden, crosses an iron bridge, goes by wetlands, and follows a trail back into the village. Strollers are not permitted on the trail where narrow sections and tree roots are present. Dogs on a fixed leash are permitted.
Finish-line refreshments include cookies, soup, water, hot chocolate, granola bars and fruit. T-shirt options run Youth X-Small to Large and Adult Small to 3X-Large; a no T-shirt option is offered for a $5 discount and shirt availability is limited after November 15. Finishers receive a locally handcrafted medal. Awards are given to the top three overall female and male finishers and to the top three female and male finishers in each listed age group from 14-Under through 70+.
