Course and race details
The course mixes roads and trail and includes a few moderate hills. The route passes the Zoar Garden, crosses an iron bridge, runs by wetlands, and uses a trail that returns into the village. Because some trail sections are narrow and have tree roots, strollers are not permitted. Dogs on a fixed leash are allowed on the course.
Participants receive a locally handcrafted finishers medal. T-shirt options include Youth X-Small to Large and Adult Small to 3X-Large; a no T-shirt option carries a $5 discount and shirts are limited after November 15. Snacks and refreshments at the finish line include cookies, soup, water, hot chocolate, granola bars and fruit.
