Stan's Donut Race

Event Overview

The Stan's Donut Race takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois. The race location is Stadium Green at Soldier Field. The event offers both in-person and virtual race options.

Race Distances

Participants can choose from several distances:

• 10K
• 5K
• Kids Dash (for ages 12 and under)

Virtual options include the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon, and Virtual Kids Dash.

Race Details

The in-person races start on Waldron Drive and finish on the concrete apron in front of Soldier Field. The Kids Dash starts and finishes at the finish line. Parking is available at the Waldron Parking Deck for a fee.

Packet pick-up is available before the race at Fleet Feet stores in Elmhurst and Lincoln Square. Race day packet pick-up is also available for an additional fee.

The event benefits Cal's Angels, a pediatric cancer foundation.

Participant Perks

All in-person finishers receive a Stan's Donut. Participants in the 10K and 5K also receive a dri-fit shirt, a donut-shaped finisher medal, a race bib, and access to two donut stations on the course. Kids Dash participants receive a youth shirt and a finisher medal.

Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in each age group for the 5K and 10K.

For virtual participants, a race shirt, medal, and a certificate for a free donut (or donuts, depending on the distance) are mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
