About the race
The Stamford Boys and Girls Club Corporate 5K is the 20th annual run scheduled for May 14, 2026. The event offers in-person running and walking as well as a virtual participation option and brings together colleagues, friends, and neighbors to support the Boys and Girls Club of Stamford.
The course is described as flat and runs through downtown Stamford and Mill River Park, concluding with a community celebration at the Whittingham Discovery Center. The event emphasizes corporate team participation and includes a race-day community component.
Proceeds support the Boys and Girls Club of Stamford and its programs, which provide financially accessible after-school programming and summer camps. The club serves more than 550 K-12 children daily; over 95 percent of those youth are people of color, about 70 percent come from households with income under $30,000 a year, and nearly half come from single-parent households.
