St. Petersburg Distance Classic
The St. Petersburg Distance Classic is a flat, fast road race held in St. Petersburg, Florida, on Sunday, February 7, 2027. The event uses North Shore Park in downtown St. Pete as its start and finish location (901 N Shore Dr. NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701).

All four on-site courses follow the same route for the first two miles, heading north into historic Snell Isle. The 10K shares the half marathon pacers until the 10K turnaround point, while 5K participants turn around sooner and return toward the finish. At mile 10 the half and marathon split at the shaded Pinellas Trail; the half heads east back to the waterfront and the marathon heads west to complete 26.2 miles before returning to the waterfront finish. The marathon course is measured and certified to USATF standards.
Organizers provide numerous packet pickup opportunities before the race and there is no race morning registration. Marathon and half marathon fields include organized pacers supplied by Beast Pacing; pacers are assigned slower goal times than their typical pace and are required to finish within one minute of their goal time. The course features waterfront views, musicians on course, spectator support, and a post-race party with food, beverages, live music, and an awards ceremony.
