St. Petersburg Distance Classic
The St. Petersburg Distance Classic is a February road race set at North Shore Park in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, with waterfront views of Tampa Bay. The event in 2027 is described as flat and fast and marks its seventh year.

All four on-site courses share the same first two miles north into historic Snell Isle. The 5K has an early turnaround and returns to the finish. The 10K follows the half course until the 10K turnaround. At about mile 10 the half and marathon separate at the shaded Pinellas Trail; the half heads back toward the waterfront while the marathon continues to complete 26.2 miles before the finish.
Pacers are provided through Beast Pacing for the marathon and half. Pacers are assigned at adjusted target paces - marathon pacers 20 minutes slower and half pacers 10 minutes slower than their typical pace - and are required to finish within one minute of the stated goal time without exceeding it.
Pre-race packet pickup is available on multiple days; there is no race morning registration. The finish area includes a post-race awards ceremony and a tropical-style post-race party with food, beer, and live music. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
