The St. Petersburg Distance Classic takes place in Saint Petersburg, FL on Sunday, February 8, 2026. The event offers multiple race options and virtual alternatives. Race types include:
- Marathon - 26.2 miles (USATF certified, FL19019TY; Boston Marathon qualifier)
- Halfathon - 13.1 miles
- 10K
- 5K
The marathon entry fee is listed at $130 and is open to ages 14 to 99. The halfathon, 10K and 5K have separate entry fees and age ranges. Price increases for several events occur after January 9, 2026. Virtual race entries are available for marathon, halfathon, 10K and 5K.

Course and race support
All four on-site courses share the same route for the first two miles, heading north into Snell Isle. After that, 5K participants turn back toward the finish while other distances continue north around Coffee Pot Bayou and return to North Shore Park. The halfathon and marathon proceed south along the waterfront, through downtown and along Central Avenue. At mile 10 the halfathon and marathon split at the Pinellas Trail; the halfathon heads east toward the waterfront and the marathon routes west to complete marathon mileage before returning to the waterfront finish.
