Bradenton Runners Club Turkey Trot
The Bradenton Runners Club Turkey Trot is a community running event held at Robinson Preserve South Entrance, 10299 99th Street NW, Bradenton, FL 34209. The event program includes multiple participation options:
- 5K in-person race
- 587 yards (1/3 mile) BRC Kids run for ages 5 to 10
- 5K virtual run/walk option
Registration opens August 14 and closes November 25. The in-person 5K uses an age-based fee schedule: $15 for registrants 16 and over, $5 for ages 9 to 15, and free for ages 8 and under. On the day of the event the fee for registrants 16 and over increases to $20; fees for ages 9 to 15 remain $5 and ages 8 and under remain free. Onsite day-of registration can be completed online via posted QR codes or in person with cash; checks are not accepted. Early online registration is encouraged to facilitate race day check-in.
All registrations for minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult registration and require a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. BRC Kids race finishers receive a custom participation medal. Race shirts are available for purchase during registration; shirts and bibs can be picked up at early check-in on November 24 and November 25 at Fit2Run, 4951 Cortez Rd West, Bradenton, and also at race-day check-in.
Proceeds support local charities and the BRC Scholarship Fund. Onsite charity collections include canned and nonperishable food, donated shoes, and baby supplies for local organizations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
