Tampa YMCA Turkey Gobble 5K & 1 Mile
The Tampa YMCA Turkey Gobble takes place on November 26, 2026, and starts and ends at Benchmark International Arena, 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602. The event follows an out-and-back course.

There is no race day registration or packet pickup. All packets must be picked up during scheduled packet pickup hours at Dick's House of Sports; two pickup locations will be offered. Virtual registrants choose their own start line, such as a treadmill, neighborhood street, or another race, and may complete either the 1 Mile or 5K distance. Virtual entrants receive a finisher medal, race bib, and race shirt, and must pick up their packet at a pre-race packet pickup to collect those items. Emailing finish times is not required for virtual entries.
Children who remain in strollers on the course are welcomed without registration but do not receive a race shirt or other swag; children who leave strollers on course must be registered to receive a commemorative dri-fit shirt and finisher's medal. Limited dogs are permitted and must be registered. Ladies shirts run small; the organizer recommends ordering one or two sizes larger.
The event covers 100% of the cost of the Kids Thrivers Club, a free 12-week youth cancer survivor program, and covers 100% of the Pedaling for Parkinson's program. The event also supports other YMCA community health programs, including Diabetes Prevention, Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring, Healthy Steps for Older Adults, and Enhance Fitness.
