Event Overview
The St. Patrick's Day Pre-Parade 5K/1 Miler is held in Crown Point, Indiana, on March 17. It takes place just before the city's night time parade. The main venue is St. Matthias Hall at 101 W. Burrell Drive.

Event Features
The course follows city streets and passes through quiet neighborhoods. The first 200 participants to sign up receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, and the top three in each 10-year age group. Green beer is available after the event. The event supports the St. Matthias Food Pantry and the Challenger Learning Center of NWI.
Registration and Fees
Registration is open until the day of the event. The cost for the 5K is $30 for adults. The non-timed 1 Mile walk and entry for children aged 3-12 is $25. Children under 3 can participate for free. Event shirts are available for an additional $16 if ordered by March 3, and are not included in the entry fee.
Logistics
Packet pickup is scheduled from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM on the day of the event at the sign-in location. No refunds are issued due to weather or other reasons, and registrations cannot be transferred after February 1. Unclaimed event shirts will be sold after the run.
