About the race
Sprint Series Adventure Race at Lysterfield Park, Victoria, is a team adventure event on 4 October 2026. Teams of two complete running, mountain biking and kayaking legs within a four-hour event window. Kayaking equipment (double sit-on-top kayak, paddles and PFDs) is supplied as part of entry.
Two course options are listed with approximate leg distances:
- Classic: Run 5–7 km, Mountain bike 15 km, Kayak 5 km
- Novice: Run 3 km, Mountain bike 8–10 km, Kayak 2 km
The mountain-bike stages use the trail network constructed for the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Course details are kept secret until race morning, when teams receive maps. The event notes that children over eight may race when accompanied by an adult and that participants with a range of fitness levels take part. Event entry is by team and pricing tiers are shown, with early-bird entry from $119 per person and higher standard and late prices listed.
The venue includes bushland, lake and established trails around Lysterfield Lake and Lysterfield Park.
