About the race
Seaford Wetlands Fun Run 2026 is a community running event at Patterson River Secondary College, Eel Race Road, Seaford, held on Sunday 29 November 2026. The event is organised by Rotary Peninsula 2.0 and Seaford Little Athletics Club and supports community groups including Kindred Clubhouse, SES, Seaford Little Aths and TeamSport4All.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 10 km
- 5 km run
- 5 km walk
- 2 km
The course is sealed and flat and suitable for wheelchairs and prams, with approximately 200 m on grass at the start and on the return. Participants are asked to remain on the path where directed, especially after heavy rain when grassed areas may be wet and unstable. Pets are not allowed on the run course during the event and must be on lead in the start/finish area.
Event services include on-site food and drink stalls, a bag drop area, finishers medals for all finishers, and trophies for male and female age groups (2 km: U8, 9-12; 5 km and 10 km: U16, 17-29, 30-45, 45+). T-shirts and timing bibs may be available before the event and on event day; singlets cannot be guaranteed after 5 November. Parking at Riviera Park requests a gold coin donation.
