5K Foam Fest - Melbourne
The event is a 5K obstacle course held at Event Central at Caribbean Park, 1280 Ferntree Gully Rd, Scoresby VIC 3179. The course includes more than 25 obstacles such as slip and slides, a large inflatable waterslide, foam zones, mud pits at certain venues, rope and cargo climbs, and a foamy start and finish. Organizers state the event uses 2.5 million cubic feet of foam across the course.
Amenities at the venue include water stations, a kids free fun zone, showers, shaded areas, a licensed beer garden, food vendors, a live DJ, a merch tent, and a gear check service (gear check requests a $5 donation). Every participant receives a string bag, a 5K Foam buff, a finishers medal, a temporary tattoo, and a free low-resolution finish photo; higher-resolution photos are available for purchase.
