The 5K Foam Fest - East Melbourne 2026 is an obstacle-course fun run held on January 24, 2026 at 305 Victoria Rd, Wandin North VIC 3139, Australia. The course is 5 kilometres long and features more than 25 obstacles, including an inflatable waterslide, mud pits and a large foam area totaling about 2.5 million cubic feet of foam. The event area also includes live music, food vendors, a festival area, a beer garden and a free kids zone for children aged 6 and under.
All obstacles on the course are optional and participants may complete the course at their own pace. Spectators have free access to the festival area, vendors and beer garden. The event supports fundraising activity and lists Make-A-Wish Australia as a supported organization.
Entry and participant information
General entry includes a run entry, string bag, buff, finisher's medal, Foam Fest tattoo, water stations, shower station, change room access, festival area, free kids zone access and a free low-resolution finish photo. Single entry price is A$74.99. A family pass is offered at A$69.99 per person based on a minimum of four registered together. A reduced rate of A$69.99 is available for military and first responders with proof of service. Group and corporate discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
Participants aged 7 and up may run; ages 7 to 12 must run with a registered adult. Children 6 and under cannot run the 5K but may use the Kids Fun Zone.
