This event is scheduled for 12 August 2026 at The Sheepmount in Carlisle. It is presented as part of a series sponsored by AM Caravans and features measured 5 km competition distances.

The course follows a mixture of park paths, pavements and quiet roads and is mainly flat with generally good surfaces. The route begins with a loop of Bitts Park, runs back past Carlisle Castle where competitors complete two laps, and returns to Sheepmount Stadium with a finish near the small grandstand. The 5 km route is officially measured.
Safety and event procedures include marshals at turns and instructions from the race director; athletes are asked to be aware of traffic and cyclists. A full course risk assessment, route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate will be displayed at the event headquarters in line with UKA rules.
Race numbers are issued at race registration. Prizes are awarded for overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for male and female finishers, with age group prizes paid by BACS within seven days and prize allocation dependent on category entry numbers. Withdrawals up to one month before the event incur a 50 percent processing charge; after that no refunds are given.
