AM Caravans Castle 5K Race 4
The event takes place on 12 August 2026 at The Sheepmount, Carlisle, Great Britain. It is part of a series sponsored by AM Caravans for 2026 and the event is listed as sold out with no remaining places.
The course uses a mixture of park paths, pavements and quiet roads and is mainly flat with generally good road surfaces. The route includes a loop of Bitts Park, runs past Carlisle Castle with two laps of the castle area, and returns to Sheepmount Stadium with the finish close to the small grandstand. The 5 km route is officially measured.
Race numbers are issued at registration. A full course risk assessment, route maps, the race permit and the measurement certificate will be on display at event headquarters on race day. Marshals will be positioned on the route and participants should take care at turns and be aware of cars and cyclists.
Prizes are awarded for overall first to third places for male and female categories and age group prizes are allocated according to the number of competitors in each category. Age group prizes roll down if an age group finisher secures an overall prize. The withdrawal policy applies a 50 percent charge for cancellations made one month before the event and no refunds after that date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
