Event details
The event takes place on Wednesday 17 June 2026 at The Sheepmount, Carlisle, Great Britain. Registration closes 15 June 2026 at 20:00. Entry categories and prices shown include individual and multi-race options and a junior category; remaining places are limited for some entries. Race results will be published online shortly after the race.

Course and event information
The course uses a mixture of park paths, pavements and quiet roads that are described as mainly flat with generally good road surfaces. The route begins with a loop of Bitts Park, proceeds toward Carlisle Castle where runners complete two laps, then returns to Sheepmount Stadium with the finish close to the small grandstand. The 5 km route is officially measured and a measurement certificate will be available at event HQ.
A full course risk assessment, route maps and the event permit will be on display at event HQ. Competitors are asked to follow race director and marshal instructions and to take care at turns because of other road users. Age-group prizes are awarded by category with payment by BACS within seven days; overall prizes are offered for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female, and age-group prize positions depend on the number of entrants. Withdrawals up to one month before the event incur a 50% charge; after that date no refunds are given. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
