Run Cumbria Solway Marathon

Run Cumbria Solway Marathon and Half Marathon take place around Anthorn in North West Cumbria (CA7 5AH). The flat, fast courses run on scenic rural roads along the Solway coast. The half-marathon is a single loop through Bowness-on-Solway back to Anthorn, while the marathon comprises two laps of the same route.

Both races are road events with traffic-free sections and feature Timing4Sport chip timing, a course measurement certificate (2025), and UK Athletics alignment. Finisher medals are awarded, with an optional T-shirt available. Expect mile markers every mile and water stations about every 3 miles, with race HQ at Arnthorn Village Hall and a 300-entry cap.
