Run Cumbria Solway Marathon and Half Marathon
The Run Cumbria Solway Marathon and Half Marathon take place in Anthorn, North West Cumbria, featuring flat and fast courses on scenic rural roads. The marathon consists of two loops through country lanes and coastal roads via Bowness-on-Solway, while the half marathon is a single loop on similar terrain. Both races are traffic-free, road-surface events with chip timing provided by Timing4Sport.
Participants receive bespoke finisher medals, with optional T-shirts available. The marathon course is officially certified, allowing times to qualify for major events like London and Boston marathons. The event offers individual and team prizes and includes water stations every three miles.
