Mound Westonka Rotary - Spirit of the Lakes 5K
The event takes place at Lost Lake Commons, 5515 Shoreline Drive, Mound, MN 55364, as part of the Spirit of the Lakes activities on July 18, 2026. The course is an out-and-back route on the Dakota Rail Regional Trail. The festival area is colocated with the race start and finish at Lost Lake Commons, and a community parade follows the race.
The program offers a chip timed 5K and a family fun run or walk option. A separate kids 5K is offered for children; participants age 7 and under may register at no cost. Adult registration includes a race bib, chip timing, and a commemorative festival 5K shirt; the kids entry includes chip timing and a race bib but does not include a shirt.
Packet pickup is available on the Thursday and Friday evenings of the festival and on the morning of the event at Lost Lake Commons. Sponsorship opportunities are listed for elements such as the start and finish, race bibs, commemorative shirts, snacks and drinks, and vendor tables.
