Jim Deane Rice Lake Run

The Jim Deane Rice Lake Run is an annual 3.7-mile race held on Saturday, July 18, 2026. It is part of the Maple Grove Days celebration. The course loops around scenic Rice Lake in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

The event starts and is based at Freedom Field, located at 8585 Rice Lake Road. Registration and race packet pick-up begin at 6:30 a.m. on race day. The event is open to all ages, but it is limited to 350 participants. Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the racecourse.

Medals are awarded by age and gender categories, with an award ceremony held immediately after the race.
