About the race
The Twin Cities Twilight Relays takes place on July 30, 2027, at Thomas Beach in Minneapolis, MN. The event is a four person relay of roughly 13(ish) miles total, with each team member running approximately 3.25 miles on the same loop. The race is a timed competition with awards for top teams across multiple categories.
A Relay Festival is held at the start and finish area. Festival features include a DJ, a food truck, and an Athletic Brewing nonalcoholic beer garden. Participants may spend time in the Festival area when not running and often cheer for other teams.
Registration offers multiple options. A team captain can create a team and pay the full team registration fee at creation; the published price including fees is $199.97. People may join an existing team; joining is listed as free but members are expected to reimburse their captain for their share. A singles registration option was offered for people 18 years and older and carried a $5 discount compared with preformed team members; that option is currently closed.
