Lake Rebecca Triathlon
Lake Rebecca Triathlon takes place at Lake Rebecca Park Reserve in Rockford, MN, about 30 miles west of downtown Minneapolis. The site is part of the Three Rivers Park District and features a clear, non-motorboat lake. Parking is located close to the transition area, and there is room for spectators and families.
The course uses low-traffic county roads with wide shoulders for the bike segment and a run route shaded by mature trees. Two race distances are offered:
- Sprint: 600 yd swim, 14 mi bike, 5k run
- Super Sprint: Roughly 125 yd swim, 5.75 mi bike, 1.3 mi run
Both event entries carry a registration fee of $60. The organizer notes that participants of varying experience levels may take part. Headphones are not permitted on any part of the course for safety reasons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
