Special Steps 5k : April 11, 2026, Kingsland, GA
The Special Steps 5k is the fourth annual event held on April 11, 2026, in Kingsland, Georgia. It is organized to celebrate and support a non-profit program for local adults with exceptional needs. The organization’s regular meetings include creative projects, athletic activities, and skill development.
The event is a community 5k run/walk open to all ages. The course includes water stations on the route and at the finish line. Packet pickup and registration take place in the PSA Community Room.
Race features, awards and practical info
Entry fee is listed as $25, with a price increase after April 10, 2026. All participants will receive a race shirt and a drawstring backpack goodie bag.
Overall awards are presented to the top three men and women, including prizes from Game Changers Running Company and Goodr sunglasses. Age group awards are given to the top three men and women in these groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 plus. Runners receive only one award, either overall or an age group award. The largest team receives goodie bags, recognition, and photos with the Steppers. The official race sponsor is Chick-fil-A Kingsland.
