Doreen Myers 5K Walk/Run at the Woodbine Crawfish Festival
The event is a 5K walk/run held as part of the Woodbine Crawfish Festival on April 25, 2026. It is presented as the 14th annual edition and follows a course that begins at Highway 17 and 4th Street near City Hall, runs along the Woodbine Riverwalk, and concludes at Satilla River Waterfront Park.
Awards are given to the top three males and females in these age categories: 18 & Under, 19-35, 36-59, and 60 & Older. Additional recognitions include First Responders (including nurses), Most Spirited, Best Team Player, and Best Dressed.
Participants receive a custom t-shirt, raffle prizes, medals for all age group winners, a sponsor goodie bag, and on-course refreshments including water, Gatorade, and bananas. Registration is offered online; fees are $30 plus a sign-up fee before April 10, 2026, $35 plus a sign-up fee after that date, and on-site race day registration is $40 plus a sign-up fee.
Proceeds benefit Safe Harbor Children’s Advocacy Centers serving Camden, Glynn, and Wayne counties. The event honors the memory of Doreen Myers, who worked to help abused children in Camden County and surrounding areas. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
