The Doreen Myers 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run takes place in Woodbine, Georgia as part of the 38th Annual Crawfish Festival on Saturday, April 25, 2026. - 1 Mile - free fun run/walk, open to ages 12 and under; registration ends April 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM EDT.
Beneficiary and awards
Proceeds benefit the Safe Harbor Children’s Advocacy Centers serving Camden, Glynn, and Wayne counties. The centers provide child-focused environments and use a multidisciplinary team approach for identification, investigation, prosecution, treatment, and prevention of child abuse. Overall awards are given to the top three timed finishers. Age-group awards are given to the top three males and females in these categories: 18 & Under, 19-35, 36-59, and 60 & Older. Additional awards include First Responders, Most Spirited, Best Team Player, and Best Dressed.
Logistics
Race packets may be picked up at Woodbine City Hall, 310 Bedell Avenue, Woodbine, GA. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race and the morning of the race. The course starts near Highway 17 and 4th Street, continues along the nature trail, and finishes at Satilla River Waterfront Park.
