About the Event
This is the second annual Cinco De Mayo 5K. It takes place in downtown St. Marys, Georgia. The start and finish location is The Firefly Taco Cantina on Osborne Street. The event supports Camden Gymnastics, with all proceeds helping young athletes cover state and national competition fees.
Event Details
The event offers three options:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Taco Run/Walk
- Virtual 5K
Race day registration begins at 7:00 AM. The 5K starts first, followed by the 1 mile event. Early bib pickup is available on Friday, May 1st, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Firefly in St. Marys. The venue will have music and activities after the race.
Awards and Registration
Awards are given for the 5K to the top three overall male and female finishers. The 1 mile awards go to the top male and female finisher. The 5K also has age group awards. Participants who register by April 19th will receive a t-shirt.
The virtual run can be completed independently between May 1st and May 10th, with times submitted by the participant. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
