Knights of Columbus Memorial Run for K9 Roki

The Knights of Columbus Memorial Run for K9 Roki is an annual community event held in Saint Marys, Georgia. This gathering serves as a fundraiser to support the Saint Marys Police Department K-9 Unit. The police department's K-9 program relies entirely on donations and sponsorships for its daily operations and the care of its four working dogs.

Participants can choose from several event distances and formats:

  • 10K
  • 5K
  • 5K Dog Jog
  • 1 Mile Youth Race (for participants aged 12 or 13 and under)
  • Virtual 5K

The event is designed to be inclusive, welcoming individuals who use wheelchairs, walkers, or canes. Participants are encouraged to run, walk, or roll through the course. The course starts and finishes near Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church.

Registered participants receive a T-shirt and swag bag. For those participating in the 5K Dog Jog, registered dogs receive a themed bandanna. Competitive awards are presented for first, second, and third place across various age categories in the 5K and 10K races. Specific awards are also designated for the 1 Mile Youth Race age groups and the top five finishers in the Dog Jog category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
