Phoenix Running South Wales is organising the South Wales - Manta Ray Run on Saturday 30 May 2026 at Rock UK Summit Centre, The Old Drift Mine, Trelewis, Merthyr Tydfil, within Parc Taf Bargoed. The event is a timed, multi-lap format on a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out-and-back course. Runners and walkers may stop after one lap or continue for multiple laps within a 7-hour limit. The organisers operate flexible "rock up and run" start times and note that Welsh Athletics race licence has been applied for.
