Event Overview

The SSAFA Cardiff 5K Road Race Series is an annual event consisting of three 5 km road races held in Cardiff. The series raises funds for SSAFA South East Wales. It is a competitive event held under UK and Welsh Athletics rules and features on the CAAC calendar.

Wednesday 22 July The event is open to runners aged 11 and over. Registration is open to all runners, including club members and individuals.

Location and Access

The race headquarters and start/finish area is the Blackweir Tavern on North Road in Cardiff. The nearest train station is Cathays, a very short walk from the venue. Limited parking is available at the Blackweir Tavern, with nearby pay-and-display facilities along North Road (A470) towards the city centre.
