Event Overview
The Silicon Valley PRIDE 5K & 10K is an annual community run and walk. The event includes in-person and virtual options for the 5K and 10K distances. The primary goal is to support Silicon Valley PRIDE and the local LGBTQ+ community.
Event Details
The 2026 event will be held on Saturday, June 20 at Hellyer County Park in San Jose. In-person events are open to participants aged 8 and older. The registration fee includes a Pride-themed tech shirt and a race bib. Participants who register by May 29, 2026, are guaranteed a limited-edition t-shirt. For in-person 5K runners, results are chip-timed.
Participants can park at Hellyer County Park for a fee, but ridesharing and public transport are encouraged. The event welcomes runners, walkers, and joggers. Baby strollers and wheelchairs are allowed on the course, but bicycles, skateboards, and other wheeled devices are not. Dogs are not permitted, except for certified service animals.
Registration and Options
Four event options are available:
- In-person 5K
- Virtual 5K
- In-person 10K
- Virtual 10K
Registration prices increase after April 30, 2026. On-site registration is available on race day. Virtual participants can complete their distance anywhere and will have their race materials mailed to them.
Additional Information
Packet pickup for in-person participants will be held at the Billy DeFrank LGBTQ+ Community Center in San Jose on specific dates before the event.
