Almaden Hills Trail Run - Summer
The event takes place on Saturday, September 4, 2027, at Almaden Quicksilver Park, Mockingbird Hill Entrance, 19535 Mockingbird Hill Ln, San Jose, CA 95120. The course surface is described as roughly 60% dirt roads and 40% single track with sustained uphill and downhill sections.
Multiple race distances are offered:
- 5K
- 10K
- 8 Mile
- Half Marathon
- 30K
- Trail Marathon
- 50K
Measured course ascent for each distance:
- 5K: 722 feet
- 10K: 1,434 feet
- 8 Mile: 2,162 feet
- Half Marathon: 3,471 feet
- 30K: 4,803 feet
- Trail Marathon: 6,916 feet
- 50K: 8,222 feet
The course is marked with colored ribbons and signs. Two fully stocked aid stations are located at the Mockingbird Parking Lot (start/finish) and the Hacienda Parking Lot; most distances encounter aid every 3 to 4 miles. Drop bag service is available for the 30K, Trail Marathon, and 50K and is handled from the Mockingbird Parking Lot area.
All distances finish at the Mockingbird Parking Lot. Toilets are available at the start/finish area. All finishers receive a medal. Entry fees are non-refundable; the organizer may provide credits for future races if cancellation is advised before race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
