Cupertino Splash and Dash
The Cupertino Splash and Dash includes swim and run events held at Stevens Creek Reservoir and on the Stevens Creek Canyon park trails near 11401 Stevens Canyon Rd, Cupertino, CA 95014.
Event distances include:
- Splash and Dash: 1.5 km (1 mile) swim and 5 km (3.2 miles) run.
- Half Mile Swim: 0.5 mile open-water swim.
- 1 Mile Swim: 1 mile open-water swim.
- Dash 5k: 5 km run on park trails.
- Youth Splash and Dash: 200 m swim and 2 km run for ages 11 to 15.
Timing chips are used for results. The transition area is not fenced or staffed with guards. Spectators, children and dogs are encouraged. Organizers present the event as community focused and grassroots. The location and formats provide open water swim practice and combined swim-run racing opportunities.
