Event overview
Beer City Half™ SLAM takes place on August 15, 2026, in Fremont, California. The event is centered at Quarry Lakes Park and features running courses that pass lakes, a creek, and rail crossings. The finish area includes beer tasting. The event schedule includes a special beer mile format where participants drink four 12-oz beers while running one mile and may be paced by a costumed "Beer City Beast" that can eliminate runners if it catches them. The Top Dog Dash is held for the second time, is for on-leash dogs, and all dashers receive capes. Proceeds from the Top Dog Dash benefit Pets in Need, a local no-kill shelter and adoption agency.
