About the race
The SHEATH 5/10K Run & Walk is a community road event organized by SHEATH Underwear, a veteran-owned, family-run activewear company. It takes place on 11.07.2026 at Martin Luther King Park in San Antonio, Texas, at 3503 Martin Luther King Dr., 78220.

- 10K (6.2 mi)
The race is professionally timed by IAAP. The first 150 finishers receive an official SHEATH race T-shirt and a finisher medal. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in both the 5K and 10K: 1st $250, 2nd $150, 3rd $100.
Bib and packet pickup occur at the park pavilion on race morning. Course details and water station locations are to be announced. Local vendors are listed as to be announced.
Post-race activities include games, prizes, food, and a family-oriented celebration near the finish area. The event is scheduled rain or shine; if thunder or lightning is present the start will be held and reassessed in 30-minute windows, up to one hour total, with updates posted on-site and on the race social channels.
