Ima’s Home 5K Run/Walk
This event is a 5K run with in-person and virtual options, and a separate 1 mile walk. It takes place on November 9th in Old Town Helotes, located at 14391 Old Bandera Rd., Helotes, Tx 78023. Packet pick-up is scheduled prior to the event at Life Point Church San Antonio on November 7th.
Registration pricing is tiered by date. The 5K and virtual 5K have three price periods beginning April 15th. The 1 mile walk and youth entries have separate pricing tiers and a free option for children ages 0 to 3. Race shirts are ordered on October 16th; registrants who register by October 15th are eligible to receive chosen sizes.
The virtual 5K can be completed anywhere up until November 14th. Virtual participants may choose early packet pick-up or have a packet mailed for a shipping fee; mailed shirts and medals may arrive after the event date.
Awards include overall male and female winners, age group awards for standard age brackets, and a team competition. Team results are determined by combining the chipped times of the fastest three team members. The event is presented to support the work of Ima’s Home in the Philippines.
