The SARR Rocky Horror Trail Run takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Eisenhower Park in San Antonio, TX (19399 NW Military Hwy, 78257). The event offers the following in-person and virtual distances:

- 27K
- 10K
- 5K
- 53K - Virtual
- 27K - Virtual
- 10K - Virtual
- 5K - Virtual
The in-person race has a cap of 350 total runners. Packets can be picked up in person or shipped within the US; packets are not shipped automatically and require a shipping add-on if delivery is desired. SARR members receive a 25% discount through September 27, 2026.
Course, aid and logistics
The course is a 3.3 mile loop with about 400 feet of elevation per loop on natural rocky trails (Hillview, Shady Creek, Red Oak and Live Oak) and includes roughly 0.75 miles of paved trail per loop. Loop counts and totals:
- 5K = 1 loop (3.3 miles / 400 ft gain)
- 10K = 2 loops (6.6 miles / 800 ft gain)
- 27K = 5 loops (16.5 miles / 2000 ft gain)
- 53K = 10 loops (33 miles / 4000 ft gain)
The race is cupless; participants must carry their own hydration device or a collapsible cup. One aid station is located at mile 2 with water and electrolytes; water and electrolytes are also available at the start/finish. A bag drop and expanded aid area will be available for 27K and 53K runners near the finish line. The event is chip-timed, a first aid tent with EMTs will be on site, and no dogs or strollers are allowed on the course. Awards are given to the top 3 overall and top 3 masters (40+) in each distance by chip time; there are no age-group awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
