SARR Rocky Horror Trail Run
The event takes place at Eisenhower Park in San Antonio on natural, rocky, elevated trails using a 3.3 mile loop. The looped course includes about 400 feet of elevation per loop and mixes natural singletrack with short sections of paved trail.
Distances offered:
- 53K - 10 loops (33 miles, 4000 feet gain)
- 27K - 5 loops (16.5 miles, 2000 feet gain)
- 10K - 2 loops (6.6 miles, 800 feet gain)
- 5K - 1 loop (3.3 miles, 400 feet gain)
Virtual options mirror the in-person distances and allow participants to run anywhere, print a downloadable bib, report time online, and receive a finisher certificate. Virtual entries are not eligible for overall awards and packets are not automatically shipped; shipping must be selected when needed.
The race is cupless; participants must carry their own hydration device or a collapsible cup. There is one aid station on course at Mile 2 with water and electrolytes, plus water and electrolytes at the start/finish. A bag drop and aid station near the finish is available for 27K and 53K runners for access between loops, stocked with a variety of snacks and race nutrition.
The event is chip timed and limited to 350 total runners. Top overall and masters awards are based on chip time; there are no age group awards. No dogs or strollers are allowed on course.
