Event Information
The 2026 Shamrock'n Race is a St. Patrick's Day themed event taking place on Sunday, March 15th. It features three distances: 5K, 7 miles, and a half marathon. The event is produced by Try Events.
Course and Location
The race takes place at Burnaby Lake, within Burnaby Lake Regional Park in Burnaby, British Columbia. The park is an urban wildlife sanctuary created by a glacier 12,000 years ago. The 21.1 km (half marathon) and 7-mile courses circle Burnaby Lake on trails, offering opportunities to view birds and animals. The organizers note that for this race, the direction around the lake will be opposite to that of the Rubber Ducky Half Marathon.
Logistics
