The Big Easter Run
The Big Easter Run is the 11th annual event held at Jericho Beach Park, 3941 Point Grey Road, Vancouver, BC V6R 1B5, Canada, on April 4, 2026.
Offered distances:
- 1 to 3 km kids run with Gnubees egg hunt
- 5 km run or walk
- 10 km run or walk
The route follows trails through a forested section and then onto a beachside path, with views of the North Shore and the Vancouver skyline. The course includes mild inclines and a mix of paved, gravel and woodchip surfaces. The event is noted as pet and stroller friendly; pets and strollers must start in the last wave for participant safety.
Registration includes a customizable Bunny Name Bib (customization deadline March 13), a bunny ears costume item, a milk chocolate finishers medal and an on-site finish clock; there is no official chip timing. Bundle and discount details are provided: 15% off when registering four or more participants in one transaction and a reduced entry fee for under 18s on the 5 km and 10 km. Entries are non-refundable. A charity entry option offers a free entry in exchange for a CA$100 or greater donation to KidSport BC.
Packet pickup is available at Kintec Broadway before the event and on site at Jericho Beach Park on event day, with a convenience fee for same-day pickup. Additional notes: Rain or shine event, bag check at own risk, no on-site cash machines, strollers should suit light trail use and dogs must be on leash.
