The Big Easter Run
The Big Easter Run takes place at Jericho Beach Park in Vancouver. This listing is for the 11th annual holiday themed run and features the Gnubees Egg Hunt for children entered in the 1 to 3 km event. The course begins near the waterfront, follows trails edged with spring blooms and loops onto a beach-side path with views of the North Shore and the Vancouver skyline. The route uses a mix of gravel and trail surfaces, has mild inclines, and is described as accessible for a range of ages. Leashed dogs and strollers are allowed; both should start in the final wave and strollers should have wheels suitable for unpaved trails.

Registration includes a personalised running bib with a custom "Bunny Name", a chocolate finishers medal, a bunny ears costume item, a measured route, a water station, entertainment and a chance to win a door prize. Early bird pricing starts at $26 for the 1 to 3 km kids run, $35 for the 5 km and $37 for the 10 km. Group bundle discounts and an under 18 maximum fee for 5 km and 10 km entries are noted. Run Kits can be picked up at Kintec Broadway; a convenience fee applies to on-site pickup if not purchased in advance. Participants must complete their route within the event time limits: two hours for the longer distances and 40 minutes for the 1 to 3 km looped event.
