Active Spirit Walk & Run 2026
The Indigenous Physical Activity & Cultural Circle (IPACC) is presenting the 13th Annual Active Spirit Walk and Run on Friday, April 10, 2026, in partnership with the Musqueam community. The in-person meeting point is the Musqueam Community Centre at 6735 Salish Drive, Vancouver, BC V6N 4C6, behind the building by a gravel road. IPACC acknowledges that the event takes place on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territory of the Musqueam people.
The event programme includes registration, a group warm-up, and the walk and run. A virtual participation option runs on Strava from April 4 to April 10, 2026, where participants may share their activities using event-related hashtags. IPACC maintains an Active Spirit Strava Club.
IPACC describes its vision as strengthening relationships among people engaged in physical activity by improving access to resources and promoting wellness. The University of British Columbia Indigenous Health and Physical Activity Program is listed as a supporting partner with contributions from faculty, staff, and volunteer students.
Additional practical details: ticket prices range from free to CAD 20 and refunds are available up to one day before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
