22nd Annual SGT Nutter 5K
The 22nd Annual SGT Nutter 5K is a fundraising run hosted at the Army National Guard Training Center in Sea Girt, New Jersey, on June 20, 2026. The event is organized by a nonprofit organization that donates 100 percent of proceeds to support the family of a New Jersey National Guard service member who sustained a traumatic brain injury in 2025.
The program includes an in person 5K and a virtual 5K option. Additional youth run and walk distances are offered for children. Registration for 2026 opens in January and closes in early June; the standard registration fee is listed as $35.

An awards ceremony will present medals to the top three male and top three female overall finishers. Medals will also be given to the top three male and top three female in each age bracket: 13 and under, 14 to 18, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 plus. The event is associated with New Jersey Army National Guard Officer Candidate School Class 69 and the organizing 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
