Event Overview
A Walk for Julie is a non-competitive memorial event held in Seaside Park, New Jersey. The event features a 5k distance that participants can complete by walking or jogging. This family-friendly gathering is organized to honor the memory of a community member and to raise funds for charitable causes, including the West Orange Firefighters Foundation and Wigs on Wheels.
The course follows a scenic down-and-back route along the Seaside Boardwalk. The walk begins at the Sawmill and continues to the 14th Avenue turnaround point. Participants then return to finish the route in front of the Beachcomber Bar and Grill. The boardwalk remains open to the general public throughout the duration of the event.

Post-Event Activities
Upon completion of the walk, a gathering is held at the Beachcomber Bar and Grill. Registered adult and youth (6-20) participants receive food and a door prize ticket as part of their entry. Following the walk, there are raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing.
