Bay Head 5K Run 2026

The Bay Head 5K Memory Run celebrates its 21st anniversary in 2026. This annual event takes place in the beach front town of Bay Head, New Jersey. The race course is 5 km long and is USATF certified. It is open to both runners and walkers.

The event typically hosts over 1,000 participants who follow a route through the local community. The starting area is located at 81 Bridge Avenue. On the morning of the event, registration remains open until 90 minutes before the official start.

Following the competition, a trophy ceremony is held in the firehouse parking lot. This ceremony includes refreshments and a prize board. Winners for the prize board are selected at random from the pool of participants, allowing all entrants a chance to receive an award regardless of their finishing time.

The day concludes with an After Party located at Martel's Tiki Bar on the beach in Point Pleasant. The party includes a barbecue and an open bar.
